The boring but important stuff

By signing up to any membership, package or program and/or attending any Sessions, events or any other activities and using MOVEMENTS, machinery and/or equipment, you acknowledge that you are responsible for using the MOVEMENTS studio and participating in Sessions safely and as directed. You acknowledge that you must behave sensibly and follow any safety instructions we may give so as not to hurt or injure yourself or others.

You hereby represent that you will:

  • act responsibly and sensibly at all times;

  • not participate in any Sessions if you are under the influence of alcohol or non-prescription drugs;

  • read and adhere to any safety warnings or instructions displayed or given by a MOVEMENTS member of staff;

  • ensure that have no medical or physical condition that would put you at risk when using equipment in our studios or participating in Sessions;

  • where relevant you will seek advice from a physician in respect of your participation in our Sessions and, where required by MOVEMENTS, provide MOVEMENTS with a copy of such advice; and

  • notify your Session instructor of any injury or if you are pregnant, comply with any specific instructions your instructor may give you and leave the Session if it is deemed inappropriate for you by your instructor.

In the absence of any negligence or other breach of duty by us, attendance at and use of the MOVEMENTS STUDIO is entirely at your own risk and you assume full responsibility for any injuries or damage suffered by you when attending and using the MOVEMENTS STUDIO

 

studio reopening health & safety measures

At Movemenrt the health and safety of our members and team is our top priority. We continue to offer a robust schedule of online classes and events for your fitness and wellness during these ever changing circumstances. Our studio has re-opened and extensive health and safety measures are being taken with new studio guidelines to provide all of our members with a safe class experience.

As this is an evolving situation, we continue to monitor this situation in real-time to ensure the proper precautions are being taken so everyone feels safe coming to class; we are strictly following the governments recommendations and adjusting operations to keep you and our team members safe and healthy.

Good Health Verification

When booking in-studio classes, you will be required to affirm at time of booking, that you are in good health and have not been in contact with anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 as detailed by the govenment. We also ask you to complete a waiver to acknowledge your participation in the studio is welcomed as long as you are healthy and observing our new studio policies and social distancing protocols.

Reduced Studio Class Size

Our studio will reduce class sizes to guarantee a minimum of 6 feet of personal distance between members during class.

Contactless Check-In

If taking in-studio classes, our mobile app check-in feature will allow us to check. you for a booked class instead of the front desk kiosk.

Hands Off Corrections

For your safety, our instructors will coach you on your form using verbal cues and demonstration, instead of using any hands on corrections.

Equipment Modifications

To ensure your safety, we will be limiting our equipment and staging it for you before class. Sanitised mats and hand weights will be set up at your designated station to be used in class, and should sanitise after class. Please leave your personal equipment at home. Towels and water bottles are permitted.
