Honestly, I don’t even know where to start—there’s so much to share! Like many of you, I wear a lot of hats. I’m Danni, the founder of Movements, a Level 4 Personal Trainer, an experienced Group Exercise Instructor, and certified in education and training.

For years, I was stuck in the corporate grind—endless meetings about meetings, long hours, and the eternal struggle to fit in a lunch break (spoiler: it rarely happened). Eventually, I realised my true passion wasn’t in the boardroom; it was helping people feel their best—both physically and mentally. So, I made a big leap. I left the corporate world behind to create Movements, a space where fitness feels accessible, enjoyable, and empowering—never another chore on your to-do list.

Outside of fitness, my life is a whirlwind. Cue Danni and her many other hats—wife (Mrs. Smith), mummy to three wonderful girls, Airbnb host, equestrian, and currently knee-deep in a home renovation project. Life gets busy, and I get it. That’s why I’m so passionate about helping people just like you find ways to prioritise your health and well-being—and make it fun! Because staying active shouldn’t feel like a punishment; it should be something you actually look forward to, a chance to recharge and feel amazing.

My approach is simple and realistic. Whether you want to build strength, boost your energy, manage stress, or just enjoy some “you time,” I’ll work with you to create a plan that fits your life—no guilt, no pressure, just movement that works for you.

Here’s the deal—I don’t do weigh-ins, body transformation photos, or calorie counting. Why? Because your health and well-being can’t be reduced to numbers on a scale or a snapshot in time. You’re not a “before” or “after” photo—you’re a whole person, constantly growing and evolving. What truly matters is how you feel: stronger, more energised, and confident.

Instead of focusing on weight, we’ll track progress in meaningful ways:

How much stronger you feel,

How much more energy you have,

How well you’re sleeping, and

How movement boosts your overall confidence and mental well-being.

I firmly believe that fitness isn’t about punishing yourself or chasing unrealistic ideals. It’s about discovering what your body is capable of and celebrating the wins along the way. By focusing on performance—like lifting heavier, running farther, or moving more comfortably—you’ll naturally gain confidence and see results that go far beyond aesthetics.

And here’s why that matters so much to me: I’ve been there, too. Like so many people, I’ve had my struggles with body image, fad diets, and an unhealthy relationship with food and exercise and in turn this impacted my mental health. I know what it’s like to feel trapped in a cycle of guilt and frustration. Over time, I’ve discovered a much healthier perspective—one that’s about empowerment, not punishment; about celebrating what your body can do, not just how it looks.

I know reaching out can feel daunting, but I promise there’s no judgement here—just support, encouragement, and a plan that works for you.

This perspective has shaped everything I do at Movements. I want you to feel free from judgement—both from others and yourself—so you can enjoy movement for what it truly is: a way to feel better, stronger, and more confident in your own skin.

We’ll track performance, not aesthetics. By measuring a range of physical improvements, you’ll notice changes across the board:
