I’m Danni, the founder of Movements. I’m a Level 4 Personal Trainer, an experienced Group Exercise Instructor and qualified in Education and Training. Through Movements, I offer one-to-one personal training and rehabilitation support designed to help people move better, feel stronger and build confidence in their bodies.
My approach is simple and realistic. Whether you’re looking to build strength, improve energy levels, recover from injury, manage stress or simply create space for some “you time”, I work with you to create a plan that fits your life in a supportive and sustainable way.
A Different Approach to Movement
At Movements, I don’t focus on weigh-ins, body transformation photos or calorie counting.
Health and wellbeing cannot be reduced to numbers on a scale or a snapshot in time. You are not a “before” or “after” photo – you are a whole person, constantly growing and evolving.
Instead, we focus on progress that truly matters:
feeling stronger in your body
having more energy day to day
sleeping better
moving with greater confidence and ease
improving overall wellbeing, both physically and mentally.
Movement should never feel like punishment. It should be something that supports you, helps you feel good and reminds you what your body is capable of.
Personal Training and Rehabilitation
Every one-to-one session is tailored to you, your body and your goals.
This may include:
building strength and overall fitness
improving mobility and movement quality
supporting recovery from injury
returning to exercise safely
creating a sustainable and realistic approach to wellbeing.
Whether you are new to exercise, returning after time away, or looking for more specialist support following injury or physical challenges, sessions are designed around what works best for you.
Why Movements Exists
My own journey with movement and wellbeing has shaped the way I work today. Like many people, I’ve experienced struggles with body image, fad diets and an unhealthy relationship with food and exercise. At times this also affected my mental health.
Over time I realised that true wellbeing isn’t about chasing unrealistic ideals. It’s about building a healthier relationship with movement, feeling stronger in your body and developing confidence in what your body can do.
Before creating Movements, I spent many years working in the corporate world. Long hours, endless meetings and busy schedules made it difficult to prioritise health and wellbeing.
Eventually I realised that my real passion wasn’t in the boardroom – it was helping people feel better in their bodies and minds. So I made the decision to step away from corporate life and create Movements: a space where movement feels accessible, supportive and empowering.
Real Life, Real Balance
Outside of Movements my life is full and busy. I’m a wife, mum to three wonderful girls, an Airbnb host, an equestrian and currently navigating a home renovation project.
I understand how easy it is for life to become overwhelming and for your own wellbeing to slip down the priority list. That’s exactly why I’m passionate about helping people find realistic ways to prioritise movement and self-care within everyday life.
Movement shouldn’t feel like another pressure on your to-do list. It should feel like something that helps you recharge, reset and feel stronger both physically and mentally.
